Fancy and functional you can take this anywhere! A simple layered salad recipe great for meal prepping.

Ingredients

  • 1 small can cream kernel corn drained
  • 2 carrots thinly sliced
  • 2 green onions sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli slaw
  • 1 small container grape tomatoes halved
  • ¼ cup fat free Italian dressing

Directions

  1. In 4 small canning jars divide corn and place on the bottom of the jar then layer with Carrots, Broccoli Slaw, Grape Tomatoes, and Gold Seal Thai Chili Sardines.
  2. Garnish with Green Onions.
  3. Drizzle dressing over salad and seal jars for later or eat right away.

TIPS &
TRICKS

Perfect lunch as a salad in a jar, the ingredients won’t get soggy instead they marinate in the dressing.

Balsamic or other oil-based dressings can be used in place of the Italian dressing to shake things up!

For a less spicy salad use Gold Seal Sardines (Soya Oil). Tuna and Salmon would also make a nice alternative to the sardines.
