A simple yet bold Mediterranean-inspired pasta made with savoury mackerel, ripe tomatoes, and fresh herbs—weeknight comfort, elevated.

Ingredients

1 can of Gold Seal Mediterranean Wild Mackerel
200 g pasta (your favourite shape)
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1–2 tbsp olive oil
1 can (398 mL) chopped tomatoes
Fresh dill, chopped (for garnish)
Salt (for pasta water)

Directions

Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the chopped garlic and cook until fragrant.
Add the mackerel and sauté gently for 1–2 minutes.
Stir in the chopped tomatoes and let the sauce simmer for 8–10 minutes.
Meanwhile, bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook according to package directions.
Drain the pasta and transfer it to a large bowl or back into the pot.
Pour the mackerel tomato sauce over the pasta, toss to coat and garnish with fresh dill.
