  • 3 cups cold day-old rice
  • ½ tsp white pepper
  • ½ tsp white sugar
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp minced ginger
  • green onions, sliced, white and green parts separated
  • ¼ cup kimchi, cut into bite sized pieces
  • ½ tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 cans (80g) Gold Seal Creamy Chive Salmon

Directions

  1. In a medium sized mixing bowl, add rice and break up any small clumps so the grains are separate. It may help to wet your fingertips to prevent sticking.
  2. Add white pepper and sugar and toss to combine.
  3. In a seasoned wok or large nonstick pan over high heat, melt butter and add garlic and ginger.
  4. Stir-fry for about 20 seconds then add the white part of the green onions.
  5. Stir-fry for another 20 seconds then add kimchi and rice.
  6. Continue cooking, stirring often until rice is heated through and begins to get brown and slightly crispy.
  7. Stir in remaining green onions, sesame oil, soy sauce and Gold Seal Creamy Chive Salmon.
