Mackerel is a small saltwater fish from the Scombridae family which also includes tuna. It is naturally rich in Omega-3s, and a good source of protein. Our mackerel is responsibly caught in the North Atlantic Ocean and can be consumed safely in unlimited amounts.

LOVE your mackerel in Olive Oil!!! I never had mackerel before June 2021 when I had to go on a Mediterranean/Keto diet for 3 months. I feel in love with these. Great taste, texture and they are in Olive Oil….Thank you so much for that! Would rate a 10 if I could. We will try your fine recipes now that I’ve discovered them. But my fav way to eat is put equal or a tad more mashed potatoes with them and mix it up gently. To me it’s the best meal. Thanks for great products! We eat/love your Wild Sockeye Salmon and it’s 5 star also!

Kick ass in a can. I love these. I work in heavy marine repair and sometimes there is little time for food. I keepa couple of cans in my tool box at all times. I can pull the tab on one of these, chow it down, and get back to the excitement will almost zero down time. So nice they are packed in olive oil and not that nasty seed(canola) or “vegetable” oil. Omega-3 city!

I have been eating this 4 times per week for the last four years (at least) & still not tired of it. I usually have it with plain rolled oatmeal. I know it sounds weird, but it is a fantastic healthy combination (if oatmeal does not affect your blood sugar). Everyone that tried it, also falls in love it.

Love this product, always make sure I am stocked up with this amazing mackerel. My only complaint is the amount of sodium … I eat a whole can so the sodium adds up! If only there could be less salt added, it would still taste good and be even healthier!

I love this product, it’s such a great way to get my omega 3 and I love the taste. Can you tell me what kind of olive oil is used, is it organic?

Can you tell me what species of mackerel, where in the Atlantic they are caught and the method of catch? Thank you

However I’m concerned that the Monterey Bay Aquarium “Seafood Watch” program rates Common Mackerel caught in the Northwest Atlantic Ocean (Canada) as a “Red – Avoid” due to severe overfishing.
On the other hand I noticed that this product package says it’s from Poland which would suggest these are from Eastern Atlantic which they rate as a “Yellow – Good Alternative”.
Could you clarify where these are caught? Thanks!
