(Sockeye Salmon – Latin: Oncorhynchus nerka)
Traditionally packed as a whole piece of fish with skin and bones, our wild Pacific sockeye salmon is one of the highest, non-dairy sources of calcium. The little bones are very tender and mash up easily.

North pacific salmon is excellent for omegas and other nutrients. The less food is tampered with, the better.

My go to brand for years. Minimal cleaning required. Great in sandwiches or as salad on veggie nights. It’s the best tin salmon on the planet

I recently had Gold Seal sockeye salmon and another brand of canned sockeye and the Gold Seal was noticeably superior in flavour. I will only buy Gold Seal from now on and hope I can continue to find it on the grocery shelves in Vancouver. I also sincerely hope it is actually caught in Pacific waters off Alaska and not from China or similar. It is so difficult to know where our food really comes from.

The best canned salmon I just discovered this brand a year ago after giving up on other brands. Thank god they still can in North America. I now have four cans a month sometimes 8.
