A flavourful twist on this Middle Eastern favourite makes for a unique appetizer at your next get-together. This salmon hummus is easy to prepare and so scrumptious with toasts and pita chips.
1 can (170g) Gold Seal Wild Sockeye Salmon (Skinless/Boneless)
1 tbsp Greek yogurt with honey
3 peppadews roasted red hot peppers or 1 tsp chopped hot peppers
1 can (398ml) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
2 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic
Juice of half a lemon
Salt and pepper to taste
- Puree all ingredients in a food processor for about 60-90 seconds until the mixture is smooth.
- Serve with pita chips or toasts
