Salmon Hummus

A flavourful twist on this Middle Eastern favourite makes for a unique appetizer at your next get-together. Easy to prepare.

Ingredients

  • can Gold Seal Wild Sockeye Salmon ( Skinless / Boneless )
  • tbsp Greek yogurt with honey
  • peppadews roasted red hot peppers or 1 tsp chopped hot peppers
  • can (398ml) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • tbsp olive oil
  • cloves garlic
  • juice of half a lemon
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Puree all ingredients in a food processor for about 60-90 seconds until the mixture is smooth.
  2. Serve with pita chips or toasts
